LGBTQ+ Focused Therapy for Your Journey

I am a therapist at LCD Counseling Services, LLC. As a lesbian, I understand the internal conflict of recognizing one’s sexuality and seeking acceptance with family and friends. I also recognize the difficulties for families who may not have been emotionally prepared for a child or family member to come out to them. Coming out is a critical time for many LGBTQ+ youth and their families.

As a mother and spouse, I understand the complex issues of same-sex relationships and the challenges children face being raised in same sex families. We all have struggles at different times in our lives; when you are a member of a minority, the struggles can seem more daunting.  My life experiences, coupled with my clinical training, have helped me help many when they feel stuck.
